Colwick Hall & Hotel

by Richard Seals December 22, 2021 0 Comment

Colwick Hall Hotel once the ancestral home of Lord Byron exudes a wealth of history, dating back to the Domesday book with the current face built in 1776. Nestled in over 60 acres of country park, this grade II* listed Georgian mansion is a perfect Midlands base to explore nearby attractions and a central location to meet with excellent road, rail and air connections.

Colwick Hall is very close to the most popular Nottingham Ice Centre – Motorpoint Arena, Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall. Nottingham Racecourse, Nottingham Greyhound Stadium and National Design Academy are only 5 minutes walk away.

We are also only 2 miles from the City Centre, Nottingham Train Station, Coach Station and many Nottingham attractions, including the Caves, Galleries of Justice, and the Lace Market, England’s oldest pub, Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem.

The hall has fabulous suites with exquisite bathrooms and many enjoying fine views of the grounds and lake. Often chosen for special occasions and corporate events, the hall is a very well established and popular venue in Nottingham. At the hotel you will find Byron’s Brasserie, famous for traditional and themed afternoon tea, Sunday lunch and a modern British dinner menu.
