Faith Tucker

Faith Tucker, local Nottingham starlet will be interviewed as part of our Christmas Special Show.

Faith Tucker is a young solo artist who is quickly rising through the ranks in the music industry.

The young soprano’s operatic voice astounds audiences and has done so since the beginning of her musical career which saw a young girl starting singing lessons at the age of 12 and immediately discovering her life’s calling.

In 2014, to develop her talent further, she embarked on an exciting venture gaining admission to the prestigious Royal Birmingham Conservatoire as a junior student studying vocal performance, technique and also piano and music theory. She quickly impressed her peers and tutors by winning the prestigious 2015 Peter Vernon Trophy at the Conservatoire followed by achieving distinctions in her Royal School of Music piano exams.

Things have since moved quickly for Faith. She has gone from small performances in her home city of Nottingham where from the age of eight she competed in local and national competitions to now conquering major concert halls and venues throughout the UK including Birmingham Symphony Hall and the London Coliseum, performing both classical arias in their original languages and also musical theatre.

In 2019, she astounded the famous judges and became a worldwide sensation following her appearance on Britain’s Got Talent, as she then became known as the “Beyonce of the Opera World”. She was immediately booked for a guest performance at the World Fashion Awards later the same year.

Faith has always had invaluable support from her parents and family who have had a huge impact on the rising stars future both in terms of the content of her musical programmes, to the beautiful stage attire and her extremely fashionable appearance.

As a singer, Faith has a great depth of talent and musical awareness and although she favours her operatic repertoire, Faith also enjoys performing popular and classical songs on stage, taking original song versions and making them her own is something that she excels at and it shows in her unique performances.

As well as singing, Faith always adored dancing, especially modern and street dancing. Her outstanding performances enabled her to win several dance competitions, including Lincolnshire’s Street Dance competition way back in 2008. This talent has proved invaluable to Faith as she has been able to incorporate her knowledge of dancing to useful effect in musical theatre performances.

Faith’s growing success means that she is becoming extremely popular and increasingly ‘sought after’ especially for prestigious events and functions worldwide, where she has been asked to perform by some of the biggest corporate names and celebrities.

She is still at a crucial stage in her education, so she works hard at striking the right balance between education and performing in concert and her incredible progress has seen her achieve a full scholarship, currently studying at the world famous Royal College of Music in London.
